Analisis Konseptual Model Pengaruh Perilaku dan Kepedulian Konsumen Terhadap Daur Ulang Sampah Elektronik
Abstract
Abstract
Electronic products that can no longer be used will become electronic waste that must be treated differently from other wastes because they contain metals and toxic substances. Consumers are important in the management of electronic waste, because they are the actors in the hoarding of electronic waste. Awareness of preserving the environment can be built by implementing the 3R: Reducing, Reusing, Recycling. Factors that can be made to consumers' decisions to store, donate, sell, dispose of or recycle electronic products are socio-economic, infrastructure, and consumer motivation itself. The purpose of this study is to gain experience of e-waste management behavior in the world of higher education. The object of the research is lecturers, educators and students. This study uses a cross-sectional survey which is analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. There are 6 initial hypotheses, from the results of the calculation 5 hypotheses have a positive and significant relationship while 1 hypothesis has no significant relationship. From these results, a strategy was obtained to motivate consumers towards electronic waste, namely by providing exposure or promotion in informing the impact of electronic waste.
